Jake Lang Counterprotest 8/22/2026

Jake Lang announced an "N-Word March" at Minneapolis City Hall to occur on August 22nd.

The community planned a counterprotest to push back against Lang's hate and calls for racist policies, such as "bringing back Jim Crow".

We now know that the Minneapolis Police Department coordinated with Lang's team for weeks, which explains why the cops escorted two of Lang's vehicles onto a sidewalk full of counter-protesters. Because the police coordinated with Lang so heavily, the county attorney is unable to charge Lang

While the police protected an insurrectionist nazi, community members managed to again chase off Lang promptly, in part because of a counter-protester dressed as Spider-man getting on to Lang's truck.

Justice Frontline Aid provided marshal supplies, a generator, and planning support for the counter-protest.
